Setting the camera aside for a moment, I am wife to the greatest man, and mom to two of the most amazing kids I could have ever hoped for. Alongside my family and our two good Heeler dogs, I find joy in life on our cattle operation, Dual E Cattle Co. I am a prairie gal, a lover of animals and nature. I enjoy strong coffee with a shot of caramel, the TV show Friends, and spontaneous pasture adventures with my family. Creativity, faith, and family are truly food for my soul. Aside from time spent behind the camera, time spent in the saddle is never wasted, especially now that it can be shared with my growing kiddos.
I discovered the value of the captured moment early on in life, and subsequently found photography, my preferred medium for time capsuling the details of those unforgettable moments. My passion for this art form led me to turn a hobby into a career beginning with the completion of formal training for my certificate in Professional Photography. Over the past decade, photography has grown with me and like an old friend, it has been by my side through celebrations, growing pains, and days in between. I’ve always been inspired by the goodness of natural light, richness of color and genuine emotion. With the passing of time, and the addition of our children, I have come to appreciate the subtle parts of life with the same significance as the life-changing, momentous moments we look forward to and wait for with great anticipation. Growing up in south-eastern Saskatchewan, with agriculture all around me which made it a frequent subject of my photos from day one. Now, as a producer myself, I have come to fully appreciate the value of quality images to positively promote this remarkable industry and the businesses we have worked tirelessly to build within it. Through photography, I can share an inside look at our way of life, while creating a lasting keepsake for retired, current and future generations. I am a sentimental person, and my heart sings at the thought of my work adorning the walls of my clients’ homes or sitting framed on the desk in their office. The older I grow, the more I have come to treasure the legacy that is left behind, both my own and that of the remarkable people I have the good fortune of photographing. |
I look forward to getting to know you and your loved ones through our time together and cannot wait to present you with your keepsake collection of images. I believe that they will truly reflect who you are in this moment in time and will become a timepiece that you look back on fondly.
